This is a cake that I made for my friend Anna to celebrate her birthday and the start of her budding new craft empire (which can be found at http://felixandswitch.wordpress.com).  Anna’s incredibly creative and has been knitting, crocheting,  cross stitching and sewing since way back when.  I thought she would definitely appreciate a big ball of wool, knitting needles and some cutesy teddy bears.

This cake actually took a lot longer than I had anticipated, as I rolled out all the “wool” by hand!  Never again, if I have to make a similar cake I’ll definitely invest in a quality extruder:)
